Energizing Disability Advocacy and Law

Living with circumstances of disability has often been referred to as living disability.  Anyone living disability will tell you that their daily routines necessarily involve connotations of advocacy and law that are ordinarily taken for granted by someone who is not.  That their needs and interests will be accommodated can never be taken for granted by a person with circumstances of disability and they must always be ready to advocate and if necessary, insist on their legal rights.  Having to constantly be on guard so to speak can be enormously draining on the wellness of a person.

Everyone should be equal in the eyes of the law.  The problem is however that all too often, the subject of respecting the integrity of legal rights related to disability manages to elude the long arm of the law.

Clearly we need to find ways to energize the  advocacy and reforming of  the law relating to circumstances of disability.
